In the 2024/2025 academic year, KB Tugas Bunda has 99 students, all of whom are Muslim, with an average age of 6 to 9 years old. The students come not only from the Cibinong area but also from outside Cibinong, such as Sentul, Pondok Rajeg, Ciriung, Citeureup, and Depok. Some of them have been identified as children with special needs after undergoing a psychological test conducted by Rumah Cinta Bureau, one of the school’s partners.

During the new student admission process, KB Tugas Bunda organizes an Open House in various formats, including School Tours, School Exhibitions, and various events involving students and parents. These events are held both within the school area and outside, such as in malls. The Open House aims to introduce the school's philosophy, vision and mission, curriculum, learning models, activity programs, and the school's financial system.

Additionally, KB Tugas Bunda conducts a school readiness test and a psychological test for prospective students. This activity is designed to determine the child's learning style—whether kinesthetic, auditory, or visual. Moreover, it provides the school with insights into the child's emotional characteristics. If a child is identified as needing special attention (children with special needs), this information will help the school provide appropriate support.

For the psychological test, the school collaborates with psychologist Mrs. Retno from Rumah Cinta, one of its partners. After the psychological test, KB Tugas Bunda conducts interviews with the parents of prospective students. The interview must be attended by at least one or both parents. This process aims to help the school understand the parents and students better, including their habits, needs, and any specific concerns related to the child.
